These courses can be completed typically within the first two semesters of enrolling.  If you wish to take courses outside JHU , please consult the  EP-Pre Approved Non-JHU Courses or confirm with an EP program coordinator associated with your program major.  Once you complete the required courses you must also contact the coordinator so they can change your admission status to full acceptance.  It’s possible you may be assigned a new advisor once you reach full acceptance which will be communicated to you on a status update letter sent to your email used to apply.

A note about conditional admission:

You may be prescribed to take your first two graduate courses in a specific order and maintain a 3.0 GPA if you are just under the GPA eligibility for admission in some program majors.  The courses are assigned in your offer letter as conditional status.  Once you complete the required courses you must contact the coordinator so they can change your admission status to full acceptance.
